 Research study of the feeding behaviour of
Parrot Fish in the Red Sea

As part of a wider project on species that erode coral reefs, a focus was made on species of parrotfish that feed on live coral.

This steepheaded, or heavy beaked parrotfish (Chlorurus gibbus) was found to regularly feed on live coral within quite a small area.
